When my kids were much younger we used to do quite a bit of camping and one of our favourite places was beside this lake. The camping field is bottom right next to the lake. I don’t know what the site is like now but back then it was all very basic which is how we liked it, as we were allowed to cook our food over open fires, which made everything taste wonderful, particularly after a day spent walking to the summit of Snowdon and back.
