I painted this up at Trebetherick Point, when it was a lovely sunny day in mid July. The tide was coming in fast and I was concentrating very hard, trying to get the rocks and waves to work well together. I noticed that the two girls sitting on the rock, chatting to each other, seemed oblivious to the tide cutting them off. Luckily, they did make it back without getting too wet and this gave me a title for my painting too.
