This in one of my first ‘post covid’ (2021) painting and it was a delight to get back out on the cliffs again after a year at home. This is painted from Fishing Cove Field at Daymer and over several days I added in some (but by no means all) of the summer activity on the beach, in particular some of the children exploring the rock pools just below me, which gave me a ready-made title.
