I painted this from my spot at Trebetherick Point on a perfect day that started bright and sunny. As often happens the sea mist rolled in and I retired to my tent to make a cup of tea and sit and wait. The wait was worth it, as eventually the skeins of mist lifting over Pentire transformed the scene into something quite mysterious and beautiful which I did my very best to capture.
