Painted from up on the cliffs at Treyarnon the challenge was to try and capture at least some of the energy and movement of the sea. For me it was a struggle worth taking on and I had a very interesting conversation with a photographer I met who was trying to do the same thing. He could not understand why I didn’t just didn’t take a photo and go home and I could not understand why he didn’t take up painting and stay a while.
