I don’t know who Will was but he must have been quite a guy to have this magnificent stack named after him. It stands at the northern end of Porthcothan Bay and in painting it I wondered how long it has taken for the sea to separate it from the cliffs it was once part of and how much longer it will remain a monument to his name.
