This print shows the Egremont, which is used as a base for a sailing school; built close by in Dartmouth and launched in 1951, it returned here in ‘76 after working on the Mersey and has provided an ideal location, where countless people have launched their lives as sailors. I am particularly happy with the way the boats give a sense of movement and excitement to the otherwise very calm scene.
