This view of the tor is from near Moor Gate (next to Oakhampton Camp) looking almost south across a large area of marshy ground that is drained by Moor Brook. The picture reminds me very much of the times I waited just outside the camp for my son and his team to cross the finishing line of the Ten Tors Challenge.
